Overview We are looking for Supply Chain Specialist to join our team! ResponsibilitiesThe Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the purchasing, control, management and planning of Direct Materials for Resale to support ADS.
The Supply Chain Specialist maintains organizational channels of communication regarding inventory and order fulfillment issues and works closely with production management, freight management, ADS CSRs, and outside vendors to manage and maintain lead times.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Maintain communication with CSR's and sales regarding lead times o Maintain communication with Regional Logistical Managers as necessary Monitor customer orders Review production plan/schedule to ensure service needs are met Manage sourcing issues Seek improvements in loading/payload efficiencies Monitor open backorders Reconcile inventory discrepancies Process Invoices and Reconcile Discrepancies Seek improvements in freight efficiencies Maintain and build job skills through company training programs Review storage and capacity planning/issues Understand and practice ADS Core Values Review and management of inventory reports and related products This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management principles and techniques Ability to communicate at different levels within the organization Operating system procedures and reports Excellent decision making skills Warehouse and stocking yard management Leadership skills Capacity and production planning Strong Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite skills Freight Common Carrier knowledge Strong interpersonal skills Mathematical skills Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience Preferred
