We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results oriented Accounts Payable Associate.
It is Micro Center's core promise to take care of our associates and customers which has led to our success over the last 40
years! MAJOR
Responsibilities:
Research a daily report to resolve all types of invoice discrepancies in order to schedule invoices for payment - for retail, service, and overseas vendors Issue shortage documents to vendors and perform POD research for disputes Obtain proper approvals for items with pricing issues using an online trouble file process Apply credits, vendor refund checks, and exchanges with proper authorization Perform daily, weekly, and period-end check runs Work inventory credit card transactions using an exception process Respond to emails and phone calls from vendors Digitally submit documents to Data Entry Verify EDI invoices and file paperwork in digital format Cover work for other team members as needed Complete daily production reports for documents processed or distributed Purge files into boxes and shelve them when necessary Cover mail duty:
distribute mail, stuff envelopes with vendor checks, balance morning reports Adhere to all area processes and manage workload as other responsibilities are added EDUCATION &
Experience:
High school education or equivalent; preferably some college Exposure to accounts payable processing Ability to work independently and maintain focus throughout the workday Willingness to support team members and area goals Ability to communicate to other team members and Accounts Payable Manager Adapt to online work as the job transitions from paper-based processes to digital formats Detail-oriented Organization skills and ability to multitask Prioritize work according to deadlines MICRO CENTER OFFERS EXCEPTIONAL
