IT Support Technician
Job summaryAmazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking IT Support Technicians who will be Amazon's front line when it comes to hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting.
The position supports data center employees in a variety of technical roles.
Support Technicians provide hands-on support for client hardware and software on Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
They also support networking and local server resources for their site.
They are the face of IT for their local customers; they serve as the liaison between site leadership and IT engineering teams.
Regular activities include troubleshooting client operating systems, PC imaging and repair, network troubleshooting, Audio/Visual or video conferencing support , project management, systems administration, telecom administration, and hardware procurement.
This position requires the successful candidate report to a site location.
The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations.
All candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team.
Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.
All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations:
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41
