Controls Project Engineer

Job summaryAs part of the global controls team, you will work with highly motivated engineers, experts and innovators in the data center industry.
You will be responsible for innovating, deploying and optimizing the automation systems within the data centers.
Automation systems consist of building management system (BMS) and electrical power monitoring system (EPMS).
Using Amazon leadership principles, you will develop new processes and standards while innovating in the controls space.
You will also be able to grow your career on technical or management track.
As a Controls Project Engineer you will:
o Manage scope, schedule and execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects in AWS data centers.
o Develop BMS & EPMS related projects scope of work, schedule, budget, Level of Efforts (LOE) to the projects requested by various stakeholders.
o Review controls sequence of operation and provide feedback to design.
o Financially manage BMS and EPMS improvement projects and assist in procurement related activities including RFQs, responding to RFIs, review of vendors proposal and issuance of purchase orders.
o Perform comprehensive review of various BMS and EPMS projects submittals.
o Participate in AWS global on-call schedule to provide immediate BMS and EPMS technical support to in-service data centers.
o Ensure data center controls are deployed in accordance with scope of work (SOW) and specifications.
o Provide onsite management of vendor work and training the internal customers.
o Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate difficult situations.
o Review and provide feedback on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings.
o Attend project related meetings, approve vendor invoices, coordinate with project leaders and regularly report status to Controls and Operations management.
o Work under tight project timelines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
o Interpret controls drawings and wiring diagrams.
o Interpret and develop controls bill of material (BOM).
o Understand and modify controls logic programming.
o Understand and modify graphical user interface.
o Support Controls related Commissioning activities in the data centers.
o Frequently visit the data centers during execution of project and development of scope.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
